Nature of risk: These units carry mains electric supply and have potential to cause electrocution. They are inspected regularly but accidental damage to them and the supply cable could expose live wiring and components.
Degree of risk: Very unlikely for an incident to occur but could be serious
Who is at risk: Anyone interfering with the units or causing damage to them
How you can minimise risk: Do not use the units to lean bikes on. Do not tie guy ropes to them. Keep a two metre area around the units free of obstacles and other paraphernalia. Make especially sure to remove connection cable before driving off. Always connect the van end of the connection cable before connecting to the EHU.
