The New Forest is famous for it’s wildlife. There are Foxes, Badgers, Roe and Fallow deer as well as various small mammals. If you peek out of your caravan window at first light you may well see the Fallow deer crossing our field on their way back to the heathland after feeding in the fields of the Avon valley.
Buzzards are frequently to be seen wheeling and mewing in the valley.
Insect life abounds and the stream has a good variety of Dragonflies and Damsel flies during the summer.
